GORX Fitness (pronounced "Go" RX) is a Veteran-owned, early-stage startup that will shake up the fitness industry one home gym at a time. We believe that starting a gym is no longer reserved for big bank loans and commercial property and have begun building a business model that allows anyone with a home gym to earn a living. We're committed to helping people lead richer lives through fitness and community.
Just as you would use Airbnb to find a place to stay, our app helps you locate nearby home gyms. These "microgyms" have all the equipment you need for a great workout and are run by independent fitness professionals who provide one-on-one or small group training, drop-in classes, or a place just to get in some rack time.
In this role, you will be responsible for iterating and maintaining our Bubble.io-based platform, as well as creating new features and functionality to support a growing user base. Compensation will be in the form of equity until we secure our first funding round.
Our ideal candidate has:
2+ years experience with Bubble.io development experience
Experience with Bubble Responsive Engine
Experience with Bubble Backend Workflow
Experience with APIs
Experience with plugins
Experience with databases
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience with UI/UX design is a plus
Can resolve clear and concise design documentation.
Can resolve technical issues associated with developed software components.
The ability to work independently and take ownership of projects is a must
Experience building Webflow websites a plus
Responsibilities will include:
Work with the product lead (the CEO) to build new features
Create and improve app logic (data sources, workflows, integrations)
Make engineering decisions about how to build new functionality
Research, integrate with, and optimize the use of external APIs
Help the product lead prioritize and refine the product roadmap
Build out, refine, and optimize data architecture in Bubble
