Job Description:

As the Website Developer, you will be responsible for handelling all aspects of new and ongoing web development from the initial specification, through to developing, testing and launching. The team works with a passion for best design and coding practices and has a real desire to develop new bold ideas.

You will be building websites using using WordPress, Shopify & Webflow.

​

Some of the day to day duties of the Web Developer will include:

​

- Building websites in WordPress, installing plugins and testing websites from top to bottom.

- Building websites in Webflow with creative interaction & animation in collaboration with our internal designer.

- Creating Shopify eCommerce stores and integrating apps to build function around the online store. Such as Wholesale apps, abandoned cart recovery emails and much more.

- Following pre-launch checklists & post-launch checklists.

- Launching websites and handling DNS settings.

- Converting designs provided from our internal designer into functional websites.

- Developing landing pages, web builds and a variety of other projects using HTML (Bootstrap), CSS and JavaScript.

- Writing “clean” well-designed HTML & CSS.

- Integrating software & extensions with websites and using tools like Zapier to setup automation.

- Expanding on your skills by researching and learning about new integrations, and new possibilities within the platforms and languages we use.

- Completing website updates for customers and emailing to confirm.

- Specing out websites with assistance from the managing director and collaborating with clients.

- Recommending plugins and functionality to clients to help improve their website.

- Running technical audits on websites and actioning fixes appropriately.

- Creating sitemaps for new website projects based on competitor research.

What we're looking for:

​

As the Website Developer it is essential that you have:

​

- A passion and keen interest in website development.

- Extended knowledge of HTML, CSS & JS.

- Experience working as Web Developer for a minimum of 1 year.

- Experience setting websites live, installing Google Analytics and running tests before sending website over to clients for approval.

- Experience building & launching Shopify stores (importing products correctly, configuring shipping, payment and tax settings)

- Great knowledge in WordPress sites & popular plugins like Yoast SEO & more.

It would also be a benefit if the Web Developer:

​

- Understands Webflow well

- Knowledge of PHP, Liquid (Shopify) & JS Frameworks

- Experience using Photoshop, XD & Figma

​
