We’re looking for a professional, unique and confident person to become an essential member of our Digital Transformation Team. This role is more than just a Low Code Application Developer. The successful individual will have experience in with web-based systems, with the ability to design, develop and maintain software using our inhouse low code platform. With your infectious and transferable energy, you’ll work together with colleagues and customers on achieving the delivery goals at very high-quality standards
As the Low Code Application Developer, you’ll be responsible for the two solutions and assist in defining the overall strategy. By being the main point of contact with software providers, you’ll take ownership of issues and manage them to resolution. With your specialist knowledge and professionalism, You’ll be able to build strong and effective relationships and provide updates to relevant stakeholders.
You will drive the product strategy, roadmap and execution to successful completion of our main software solution (Bud) and our new low code platform.
What will you be doing?
- Work with stakeholders to identify and scope business process improvements
- Implement project deployments according to requirements specification, statement of works and project schedule to an agile development and delivery methodology
- Identify and model business rules, process and workflow requirements
- Identify and map data fields including one-off import/export at setup and synchronisation of sources on an on-going basis
- Test and manage requirements during project delivery and participate in regular review as part of the project delivery team with stakeholders and end users as necessary
Requirements:
- An understanding of low-code software development platforms and how to utilise and implement web-based applications, web user interfaces and web services
- Proven experience of working with customers and project teams in an agile manner
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with low-code and no-code tools such as Google Appsheet, Bubble, PowerApps
- Background in business analysis, process mapping and business processes, including knowledge of web-based systems analysis and/or web design
- Working knowledge of the processes involved in software development – ITIL and Agile
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent) or relevant industry experience
- Ability to develop yourself to keep abreast of new ideas and technologies
- Knowledge of the Bud platform or Liberty Platform advantageous but full training will be given
- Although not essential it would be advantageous if you have experience with the following Microsoft 365 Applications, Visio and Power Automate
