Webflow Developer
SIDE Labs
SIDE Labs is a small team with a big mission: we use design and technology to alleviate suffering, guide the vulnerable and reduce inequalities.
At SIDE, you’ll get the chance to grow and do your best work. We believe that Webflow, and no-code more generally, is going to be revolutionary for social impact.
In past lives, SIDE’s founders created Mint Digital. More recently, we created Design Club - a non-profit running design clubs for kids. We also run SIDE Academy, a ‘no qualifications, no experience’ training scheme that aims to bring diverse talent into the sector.
We are looking for an exceptional Webflow developer, with at least 3 years' experience.
Requirements
SIDE is more than the sum of its parts. We are looking for a team player who will nurture others and enjoy the process of collaborative endeavour.
We know we are unlikely to find someone with all of the skills below, so we’d still love to hear from you even if you don’t match them all.
In rough order of priority, we are looking for:
1. Webflow skills
You’ll create stunning Webflow sites and feel happy and confident building to best accessibility standards. We use the Client-first Style System and sometimes Relume - bonus points if you’ve got experience. Your sites not only look great, but you’re also proud of the way you build.
You’re always learning, excited about growing your Webflow skills and you’ve got your finger on the pulse of what’s happening in the world of Webflow. You naturally want to share your knowledge and you ideally have experience collaborating in Webflow.
2. Design skills
You can translate fuzzy requirements into something elegant and fitting the purpose. You'll care deeply about the visual design as well as the functionality, and have a keen eye for UI and good understanding of UX. You’ll be able to communicate visually with originality and excellence.
3. Other No-Code skills
We’d love it if your interest in No-Code extends to other tools too. Top of our list is Integromat (Make), Airtable and Typeform. We’d love it if you’ve got experience of connecting Airtable to Webflow via Make/Zapier… but we are happy to hear of other explorations and integrations. Any experience is useful. We are particularly interested to hear if you’ve got experience evaluating no-code tools for new situations.
4. Project management experience
You’ll guide a site build from start to finish. You’ll work closely with colleagues, clients and partners to shepherd projects from concept to completion.
5. User research experience
You’ll be able to see things from the user’s perspective. You’ll plan and carry out user research that maximises learning. You’ll synthesise this research into actionable insights, communicating them with impact and honesty.
6. Writing ability
You don’t need to be a poet, but tight writing is important to us. Whether it is emails or Slack messages, interface copy or research synthesis - we like it all to shine.
