At Toll Technology Centre (TTC), we are hiring Low Code Solution Designer. The Low-Code Solution Designer is responsible for creating solutions that are optimized, modular, technically feasible, and as reusable as possible to enable the Intelligent Automation (IA) CoE within the Digital Technologies team, to achieve its overall goals and objectives. The role ensures that the low code solutions are aligned with Toll’s Architecture principles and address the unique Business Requirements across Toll’s Divisions to enable building applications at speed & scale.
As a Low Code Solution Designer, your responsibilities will include:
- Design & develop low code solutions by considering functional, data, security, and systems analysis of complex business processes. Contribute to low code design principles and design patterns, including code proof of concepts or working prototypes. Ensure business / technical requirements’ accurate portrayal in solutions through association with SI partners, business end-users, and technology groups. Translate conceptual designs into physical designs taking account the right cloud environment, performance, and system capability.
- Be the subject matter expert on all things low-code with deep technical understanding of Toll’s enterprise low-code platform. Provide guidance in terms of effective deployment of low code solutions to achieve business goals while ensuring compliance with the overall enterprise architecture & security standards. Providing effective risk management and identify issues related to low code solution design.
- Deliver technical visualisation of proposed applications that meet business requirements and proceed for development. Keeping an eye on all phases of the technical requirements, conduct an IT systems impact evaluation to understand the effect of changes to requirements across all low code projects. Build and maintain a library of reusable components and ensure they are leveraged by application projects.
- Safeguard the quality of transition of applications from the IA CoE from the build phase into release & operations support phase. Conduct peer review of other developers’ development efforts to ensure consistent methodologies are followed and make corrective recommendations where necessary.
- Provide technical mentoring and guidance to the build & operations support teams. Collaborating with stakeholders, solution architects, solution designers, and enterprise architects to ensure successful and timely delivery of end-to-end solutions
- Communication with stakeholders to establish strong relationships and ensuring they understand business, technology requirements, and proposed solutions. Work with the broader IA COE team to ensure agreed commitments are delivered. Work closely with the onshore and offshore support teams within Toll IT
About you:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 5-10 years of relevant experience in application software development. Demonstrated technical platform/development experience with:
* Online technologies and frameworks: JSP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript Data modelling and relational and NoSQL database design
* Native mobile application development experience (for iOS or Android) is an advantage
ReST API design and security
* Microservices architectures
* Use of cloud and SaaS based products and capabilities
- Continuous integration and delivery processes and tooling
- Experience in solution design, architecture, and related disciplines
- Hands on experience with cloud offerings and or certifications, hands on experience with the toolset like JIRA, Azure DevOps
- Hands on experience with Low Code platforms is mandatory (Mendix, Outsystems, PowerAutomate)
- Certification on any of the low code platforms is an added advantage
- Experience across DevOps automation tools for CI/CD
